Share Point 2010 - Development Box Setup

Finally I have Installed Sharepoint 2010 in my new laptop. Yeehaa..

Please find the configurations of my development box.

HP ENVY 17

HDD: 500GB X 2
RAM: 8GB
Processor: i7-720QM

Note: HP Envy 17 laptop has got heating problem. Your left hand palm gets heated like anything, performance is ultimate though.

I have installed single server installation.

Operating System: Windows 2008 R2
Sharepoint 2010 : Enterprise Edition
Database: SQL Server 2008 R2












Note: After OS installation enable Domain Controller Services. My domain name is ADDALA.COM

I have installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 too.

    Please provide the simple steps ASAP. Atleast copy from Microsoft and paste it here.

    How is the performance? Do you think HP Envy is the better option for Share Point 2010?
