Rating Timer Jobs feature in Sharepoint 2010

Rating has been introduced in shareoint 2010. Users can rate on lists, publishing pages and etc.,

The following two timer jobs calculate the rating.

These two jobs scheduled to run hourly. In a class room demo after rate the item, run the two jobs one after the other, the rating will update against the item.

    Good to know. It's really useful when you demo rating to a client.

    The other option is you can schedule to run the jobs for every 5 mins too. But still you have to wait for 5 minutes. - PK
